Tips for parents and teachers

Questions from grown-ups

Is this hangman?

It's the same guessing game, made kind: wrong letters pop balloons and the basket floats down gently; nobody is hanged.

Which spelling is used?

English, Spanish, French and German use their own country names (accents don't matter: Japón is JAPON). Japanese, Hindi and Tamil spell the English name, since those scripts don't split into single letters.

What age is it for?

About 6 and up. Easy uses short names of well-known countries.

Can it be played on a computer?

Yes: type the letters on the keyboard and press Enter for the next word.

Does it work for a whole class?

Yes: put it on the projector and let the class call out letters.

Is it free? Does my child need an account?

Yes, it's free, with no sign-up, login, or download, and it never asks for personal details. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets, and computers.
