What kids learn
Recognizing world flags, linking each flag to its country, and noticing colors, stars, stripes, and symbols. Easy uses the best-known flags; Hard includes all 195 countries.
Tips for parents and teachers
- Learn one continent at a time. Europe and South America have many flags with simple stripes, a good place to start.
- Ask kids what they notice about a flag (colors, a star, a cross) before they answer. Describing flags helps them stick.
- Use the Daily Flag Challenge as a 2-minute warm-up: everyone gets the same 8 flags that day.
