About Flagoo
Flagoo is a free website of flag and geography games for children aged about 5 to 12. Kids learn the world's 195 countries — their flags, capitals, maps and currencies — through short, cheerful games that never end in “game over”.
Why Flagoo exists
Flagoo started in September 2026 as an independent project, to make learning geography feel like play rather than homework. Many flag quizzes online are made for adults or ask children to sign up. Flagoo is the opposite: no accounts, no personal details, nothing to install, and rounds short enough for a young attention span.
What you'll find here
- 41 games in four groups: flag games, map and geography games, quizzes and puzzles (capitals, currencies, riddles), and just-for-fun games like Flag Match 3 and Four in a Row.
- World Adventure: a trip around the world on a real map, one country at a time, with postcards, mini-games, stamps and medals.
- The Daily Flag Challenge: the same 8 flags for everyone, every day.
- Flags of the World: a reference page for every country's flag, with its capital, continent and look-alike flags.
- Printable activities: flag bingo, flashcards and worksheets for home and school.
- The Group Flag Challenge: one QR code gives a whole class the same quiz.
How children learn with Flagoo
Every game gives quick, friendly feedback. A wrong answer gets an encouraging message and the right answer is shown, so a mistake becomes a chance to learn. Games prefer countries a child hasn't seen yet, three difficulty levels move from well-known flags to harder ones, and a Tricky Flags round brings back the flags a child got wrong. Country names can be read aloud, which helps children who are still learning to read.
Seven languages
Flagoo can be played in English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Hindi and Tamil. Country and currency names come from the Unicode CLDR data built into your browser. Capitals, clues and guides were translated by us and may contain small mistakes — if you spot one, please tell us.
Where the facts come from
- Countries: the 193 member states of the United Nations plus its two observer states, Vatican City and Palestine, identified by their ISO 3166 codes.
- Flag pictures: flagcdn.com. Maps: Natural Earth, through the world-atlas project.
- Geography is simplified for play. Borders, names and groupings are shown in a simple way and aren't an official reference, especially where they are disputed.
Made to be safe for children
- No sign-up, no chat, and no way for children to contact each other.
- No personal details are asked for; progress is kept on your own device.
- Visit statistics are anonymous, with advertising features turned off.
- If ads are shown, they are non-personalised, marked as child-directed and kept away from game buttons.
