At a glance
- For ages 5 to 12
- Free, with no sign-up and nothing to install
- One player, or 2 players taking turns on one device
- Plays in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, in 7 languages
How to play
- Pick a continent (Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America or Oceania) or the whole world, then a level.
- Answer 8 questions. Each one is a different kind from the one before: a flag, a capital, money, a language, a famous landmark, a state, or a river, mountain or lake.
- A right answer stamps that country in your passport. A wrong one shows the right answer, and the round carries on.
What kids learn
The countries of each continent from many sides at once: their flags, capitals, currencies and languages, their famous landmarks, the states of big countries, and the continent's rivers, mountains, lakes and deserts. Mixing them helps children connect facts about a country instead of learning each list on its own.
Tips for parents and teachers
- Start with your own continent, then the continent you'd most like to visit.
- Before a round, look at that continent's flags and capitals on the Flags of the World page.
- For a class, make a Class Challenge so everyone gets the same 8 questions, or run it as a Quiz Show with teams.
Questions from grown-ups
How many questions are there?
Over 1,800 across all continents and levels, built from the same checked facts as Flagoo's other games, so a round rarely repeats.
Why are the wrong answers from the same continent?
So the question really tests knowledge: Rome, Paris, Vienna or Madrid is a fair choice; Rome, Tokyo, Lima or Nairobi would be a giveaway.
Are the language answers fair?
The right answer is the country's official or main language, and the wrong ones are languages from other continents that aren't spoken there as a main language.
Can two children play together?
Yes: switch on 2 Players before starting and take turns on one device.
Is there a timer?
Only if you want one: Beat the Clock gives 15 seconds a question.
Is it free? Does my child need an account?
Yes, it's free, with no sign-up, login, or download, and it never asks for personal details. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets, and computers.
